Welcome to personalized primary care that prioritizes you and your health.

Join today for a multitude of member benefits, including:

  • Your wellness is our number one priority. We provide primary care to Rolla residents that is truly preventative. Dr. Huhn gets to know you and offers personalized guidance to improve your health. Our appointments last as long as you need, typically 30-60 minutes, so we can work together to help you achieve your health goals.

  • You deserve to live a fuller and healthier life free from the burdens of redundant and fragmented medical care. Dr. Huhn can evaluate your current regimen and help you find the best way to support your health. In addition, she provides education and support that empowers you to take control of your health and implement lifestyle changes that help you prevent, manage, and possibly reverse chronic disease.

  • We offer virtual and in-office appointments to fit your busy schedule. You shouldn’t have to take time off work to stay healthy. You can call, text, or video chat with your primary care doctor instead of waiting weeks or months for an appointment. We take a limited number of patients to ensure Dr. Huhn is available when you need her.

  • You can schedule appointments with your family physician within 1-2 business days to address urgent issues right away. Say goodbye to expensive trips to urgent care or ER visits for non-emergency issues. We encourage members to reach out with any concerns, big or small. You can message your doctor when and where you need to at no extra cost.

  • We offer a wide range of women’s healthcare needs, including contraception, annual pelvic exams and pap smears, menopausal symptom management, and conditions such as PMDD and PCOS. Membership covers the cost of physician insertion of long-acting contraception, such as IUDs or arm implants, and we’ll work with you and your insurance for pricing of the device (such as Mirena, Nexplanon, etc.).

  • We give you the time and space to address male concerns and health issues. Members can choose between in-office or virtual visits based on their comfort level and scheduling needs. We’re here to provide care for your whole family in a safe, welcoming environment at all stages of life.

  • Dr. Huhn brings extensive experience working with patients of all ages, and our practice accepts patients ages six and up. We’ll work with your family’s busy schedule to find appointment times that are convenient for you. With access to direct messaging, telehealth, and last-minute scheduling (within 1-2 business days), we can address urgent issues to help your family get the care they need when and where they need it.

  • We partner with local companies that offer discounts when you pay cash for their services. We can often negotiate with companies to charge far less when everyone avoids the hassle of insurance billing. Subsequently, many patients, whether or not you have a high-deductible plan, can save money by paying cash for services such as labs or imaging.

  • Dr. Huhn offers a range of in-office procedures, such as suturing, minor laceration repairs, and skin biopsies. We also provide point-of-care testing for common conditions such as flu, strep, and COVID. Many traditional practices will refer you to specialists because their providers don’t have time to perform simple procedures. We provide as much of your care as possible within our direct primary care practice, helping you get the most out of your membership.

  • We offer discounted generic medications on-site. Members with traditional insurance can still use their pharmacy of choice if desired. Most members will find significant savings by partnering with our practice for their medications and supplements.

  • As your primary care provider, we are often the first point of contact when mental health issues arise. We offer support for depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. We can refer you to additional resources online or in the Rolla community. We are always here to listen and support you, no matter what you are struggling with.

  • Dr. Huhn takes time to understand your unique struggles so you can work together to make informed decisions that support your goals. Through education and advocacy, we help you understand the nutrition and lifestyle changes that improve your chances for long-term success.

  • Dr. Huhn takes time to investigate your symptoms, understand your health history, and listen closely to your concerns. While the limits of traditional healthcare have led to a surge of specialist referrals, we strive to provide as much care as possible within our practice, saving you time and money. If you see multiple specialists to manage your health, Dr. Huhn will be your primary point of contact. She'll help manage all aspects of care and ensure each provider properly communicates and coordinates your care needs.

  • Dr. Huhn holds health seminars throughout the year on various topics to help in your search for health and well-being. These will be a combination of in-person and virtual meetings, covering topics such as diabetes self-management, weight loss, men's health and testosterone, osteoporosis prevention and treatment, anxiety and stress relief, and more. Seminars are free for members and available to non-members for a fee. Fees will vary based on the length of each seminar. Some will be only one or two sessions, while others may extend for several sessions over weeks to months.

FAQs

  • When you join, you'll realize right away that this isn't a typical doctor's office. Forget about the headaches and frustrations you experienced before. You now have a trusted physician ready to care for you.

You will have longer face-to-face time, better communication, and no wait times. You can text or call Dr. Huhn with any questions. Our focus is on keeping you healthy and informed!

With our innovative membership model, you have improved access to talk to your doctor whenever and wherever you need to, at no extra cost, empowering you to take control of your health.

  • Numerous reports show better care and cost savings throughout the United States. An actuarial study found that our type of practice led to fewer specialist referrals, hospital admissions, and ER visits.

We’ve also partnered with resources that may save you additional money if you pay cash rather than submit to insurance. For example, we’ve partnered with labs, imaging centers, and a prescription wholesaler for dramatically lower cash-based pricing. However, if you still want to submit to your insurance company, you are welcome to do so. We can discuss and offer options that help you to make the right decision based on your situation.

  • Our practice leverages a patient portal app that allows us to be available when needed. This dedicated tool allows us to securely text, video chat, and send pictures in real time. If we determine that you need to visit the office, we typically have same-day or next-day appointments available.

  • It’s easy to schedule a visit via online scheduling through the patient portal or by calling our office. We also offer a virtual visit as an alternative for a quick checkup or if you’re sick at home and would prefer not to come in. As a member of our practice, there are never additional charges or copays to see your doctor!

  • Yes! You never know what the future holds for your health, so we recommend becoming a member to manage any health issues proactively. However, we have prices available for one-time visits as well.  If you're still deciding whether a membership is right for you, please feel free to contact our office. We'll discuss your unique situation and guide you through your decision, ensuring you receive the best care for your situation.

  • You are our number one priority, so we limit our patient panel to a few hundred patients to ensure we're available when you need us (traditional practices have a patient panel of 2000-3000+ patients). Our small patient panel allows us to provide personalized care, maintain little to no wait times, offer same-day and next-day visits, and hold non-rushed, 30-60-minute visits with our members.

  • We've partnered with local companies that provide our members with discounts for cash payments. However, you are welcome to submit to your insurance company if you'd like.

  • If you need to go to the hospital, please call to discuss it with us anytime. We can help you decide whether it's something we can take care of or if the emergency room is necessary. As your personal physician, Dr. Huhn wants to be involved in your hospital care—whether to speak to the emergency room physician or the in-patient doctor to assist in your care. We are also happy to keep in touch with your family during your stay and help arrange your care after you return home.

  • Our practice welcomes all patients, no matter what kind of health plan you have or do not have. We like to say that your membership fee pays for everything Dr. Huhn does as your primary care physician. If you need to go outside the office—for labs, blood work, or specialists—you can use your health plan like you usually would.

  • We recommend that you continue to have some type of health plan coverage. If you are looking for a cost-effective way to obtain catastrophic care (childbirth, surgery, accidents, etc.), we recommend you enroll in a healthshare. This new type of health plan is affordable, provides excellent service, and helps alleviate any emergency medical bills.

  • Medicare offers a low baseline of primary care services and typically makes it hard to gain personal access to a primary care physician. Our practice is excellent for Medicare patients who value having unlimited access to a primary care physician who knows them. Our Medicare patients pay practice fees directly, but Medicare coverage remains in place for everything else: specialists, testing performed outside our office, and hospitalizations. Your Medicare will also cover prescribed lab services, as these are performed by an independent lab affiliate. Dr. Huhn can still refer, write prescriptions, and act as your primary care physician.

Due to Medicare rules on billing, Dr. Huhn is not able to see Medicare patients until the appropriate time has lapsed from her departure from traditional medical practice. If you are over 65 or on Medicare, please call or click to be placed on the waiting list.

  • Some patients utilize their health savings (HSAs), flexible spending (FSAs), or health reimbursement accounts (HRAs) to pay our fees as “qualified medical expenses.” Legal experts have recommended that these patients follow the best practice of paying annually or semi-annually. If requested, we can provide you with an invoice or submit a notice to your employer if any questions arise about our programs. Please note that we cannot offer tax or legal advice, and you should consult your tax advisor for guidance.

  • The service contract is for one year. If you are unhappy with the services OR, for any reason, wish to cancel your contract, you may do so with a 90-day notice. All contracts are automatically renewed unless we receive a 90-day notice not to renew.
