Dr. Huhn decided to transition from traditional practice and enter direct primary care to give her more time to spend with patients and to provide the type of care patients deserve. Throughout her time in traditional primary care settings, she witnessed the limitations that insurance and fee-for-service healthcare placed on patients and their health. By directly partnering with patients, she can provide extended appointment times, minimal wait times, and flexible scheduling so you can see her within 1-2 business days, either in person or online. Dr. Huhn’s background & experience
Dr. Stephanie Huhn, DO, obtained her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine of ATSU. After receiving a United States Navy scholarship, she completed a year of internship and then served three years as a General Medical Officer. During her Navy service, she was recognized as one of the Top 5 Primary Care Clinic Providers in all of Navy Medicine. After her time in the Navy, which she loved, she completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, eventually serving as Chief Resident. She brings over a decade of experience in primary care and family medicine, working with patients of all ages and levels of health. She is originally from the St. Louis area. After several relocations for the Navy and work, she returned to Rolla, Missouri, in 2020 to be closer to family.
